Born from a Love of Eastern European Food
European Sweetness was founded with a simple dream: to bring the warmth, flavours, and traditions of Eastern Europe to the heart of Edmonton. What started as a passion project has grown into a beloved local institution.
We are a locally owned café, bakery, and deli — a place where fresh burek comes out of the oven every morning, where Bosnian coffee is brewed the traditional way, and where the shelves are stocked with imported European goods that remind our guests of home.

At European Sweetness, we honour that tradition. Our Bosnian coffee is brewed the old way — no shortcuts, no machines — and served with a sugar cube and a piece of rahat lokum, just as it should be.
